A lifestyle newborn session is so cozy! They are some of my favorite types of sessions to shoot. I loved working with the Chavez family! You don’t want to miss this session!
Lifestyle sessions are a great way to capture this newborn stage in the comfort of your own home. Every home is different because of lighting and your choice of decor and colors. Because of that your pictures won’t look exactly like another family’s lifestyle session, but if you relax and let me do my job, you will get images that bring back all the nostalgia!
When I arrived at the Chavez home, everything was ready to go, which made it so nice and easy! I started my session the way I normally do, with the whole family. I like to get all of the shots with Dad, so that if he needs to go to work, he can leave without worrying about missing a shot that he was supposed to be in. We worked our way through the rooms that they wanted pictures in. We took some shots in the bedroom, nursery, and living room. The lighting in the bedroom was my favorite!
Once we finished with the pictures that Dad was in, I always make sure to get any other pictures with the other littles. You can tell big sister was so proud of her little brother! The pictures turned out adorably!
Last of all, we did the pictures with just baby Case. He was such an easy newborn to work with! I love being able to capture all the tiny details: the button nose, the tiny fingers and toes. The newborn stage only lasts a little while, so it is such a privilege to be able to capture it!

Arielle and David's wedding was elegant, to say the least! I observed their private vows from a distance and witnessed tender moments shared between the couple. Although it was a joyous occasion, the wedding was marked by the tragic loss of the groom's mother just weeks before.
Arielle's planning was evident in every aspect of the wedding, and the details of the day were simple yet elegant. Arielle's dress was beautiful.

If I could photograph this West Texas wedding again, I would do so in a heartbeat. Maria and Thomas' wedding was a joy to photograph. I knew the moment I walked into the room that we were going to have a good day.
For the first look, the pecan orchard was a must regardless of the weather. Let me tell you, these images turned out beautiful. The trees were lush green, and the misty rain added to the scene.
