Spring family photos are a lot of fun, but you know what else is fun? Returning clients. I love it when my clients come back for family photos again. Yeah, it’s a bit of a challenge, but I love it. And these spring family photos will have you coming back for more.
I love seeing your little ones grow. They come in stages of all kinds. They love cheesing in front of the camera, and then they hit that awkward stage of missing front teeth, becoming teenagers who don’t want to be photographed, and suddenly requesting portraits for themselves.
I started photographing Henry and Margaret’s family photos about two years ago, and I immediately fell in love with her family. Her smile drew me in, and I connected with that deep, inner sense of happiness.
The kiddos have just grown from the first time until this family session. And seeing them grow up is so much fun.
Should I tell you what the best part of this family session was for me? As we wrapped up the session, we walked back to the car. The children are saying how much fun they had and if they can have another session soon. Ya, my heart melted.
Treating children with value and respect is key to winning their hearts. I love to acknowledge the little ones during a family session and capture portraits of them in a way that makes them feel special and in the season they are currently in.
What girl doesn’t love to twirl at a young age or dance with her daddy? The boys, never mind looking at the camera, give them a stick and let them run. That’s how you gain those true smiles.

Arielle and David's wedding was elegant, to say the least! I observed their private vows from a distance and witnessed tender moments shared between the couple. Although it was a joyous occasion, the wedding was marked by the tragic loss of the groom's mother just weeks before.
Arielle's planning was evident in every aspect of the wedding, and the details of the day were simple yet elegant. Arielle's dress was beautiful.

If I could photograph this West Texas wedding again, I would do so in a heartbeat. Maria and Thomas' wedding was a joy to photograph. I knew the moment I walked into the room that we were going to have a good day.
For the first look, the pecan orchard was a must regardless of the weather. Let me tell you, these images turned out beautiful. The trees were lush green, and the misty rain added to the scene.
