Sometimes, it feels like everything is stacked up against you. This session started this way. It was windy and cloudy, and a minor accident gave one of the little guys a goose egg. But we went ahead with the session, and the results were amazing! You don’t want to miss this grass field family session!

West Texas weather is always unpredictable, but we can almost always count on it being windy, especially in the spring. This makes it a bit challenging to take photos, and sometimes, the best option is to postpone a session. But other times, the best thing is to work with the wind as best you can. That is what we did with this session. Despite the extra challenge, we got some amazing photos!

I’ve photographed the Reimer family and their four boys multiple times, and it was a pleasure to work with them again! It’s always fun to have repeat clients because you get to watch their families grow and capture their different stages of life.

The Reimer family wanted their photos to be very candid, with a lot more pictures of them interacting with each other and not so many of them looking at the camera. I had a lot of fun getting creative with these shots. A couple of times, the kiddos weren’t so sure about some of the prompts. Like the one with the family lying down in the middle of the field. Mom didn’t oppose and dad was willing, and I am always up to trying different things like this! But you could tell that the boys weren’t so sure about this one, but the shot turned out great!

I am honored to work with amazing families like this!
