Breana and Dennis celebrated their wedding reception at her parents’ pecan orchard. The pecan orchard was decorated with beautiful lights, strategically placed tables, and long white tablecloths, giving the place a fairytale-like ambiance.
‌Not only did they receive beautiful portraits, but they also received a video to relive the moments. Dave Dyck was the videographer for the day. Together, we worked to capture the day perfectly for the bride and groom.
The wedding day was beautiful and calm, a big deal in West Texas, where the weather can be unpredictable. However, around noon, weather predictions indicated the possibility of light showers and strong winds, which is not ideal for an outdoor wedding reception.
I captured the getting ready photos at the Community Church in Seminole, Texas. Breana followed my instructions for the getting ready area to the “T,” creating beautiful, clean portraits. After the detail photos, I took photos of the bride getting into her dress. Then, the first look with the bridesmaids, these were beautiful.
‌The ceremony took place at the church. After the ceremony, everyone headed to the family pecan orchard to celebrate the new Mr. & Mrs. Friesen.
Lisa, with @boundless_event_decor, decorated the orchard with string lights and draped the tables with elegant white linen tablecloths. They also adorned the tables with candles and greenery to create a beautiful ambiance.
‌Rita from @anepicurestable did a phenomenal job catering and serving delicious tacos fresh off the grill for the reception dinner.
‌Breana and Dennis ended their wedding day with a fun confetti exit. As they ran through the receiving line, guests showered them with confetti, covering the newlyweds from head to toe.
‌Surprisingly, the wind and rain held off until after the reception. Shortly after Breana and Dennis left, a light shower came over, leaving this West Texas pecan orchard wedding one to remember.
