I’m off to Lubbock for a fun couples session. The weather is perfect. The sun is shining and giving portraits that perfect glow. The grass is the perfect height to add dimension to the images. Come along and check out this session.
The location was an easy pick for them. They had seen sneak peeks of another couples session here, and they loved it, so they decided to use the same location.
This makes shooting in a familiar location easy for me. I had not accounted for all the mosquitos joining us during the shoot, but a few bites don’t hurt—until you get back into the car and can’t stop itching. Still, it’s worth it!!!
Showing up to your session expecting to have fun and walking away with a ton of great photos is a huge win. The only thing that makes it tough is later trying to decide which ones to share and which ones to toss.
Unintentional eyes closed, those images are usually trashed, but the images with purposeful eyes closed are a must-keep. Wouldn’t you agree? I just can’t ever decide between this one or that one….so I deliver both. It makes it hard on me and hard on you. I know, but what do you do?
If I could have my clients pick their favorites, I think they would cull more images than I end up with at the end of the process. Therefore, over-delivery is still the best option for me.

Arielle and David's wedding was elegant, to say the least! I observed their private vows from a distance and witnessed tender moments shared between the couple. Although it was a joyous occasion, the wedding was marked by the tragic loss of the groom's mother just weeks before.
Arielle's planning was evident in every aspect of the wedding, and the details of the day were simple yet elegant. Arielle's dress was beautiful.

If I could photograph this West Texas wedding again, I would do so in a heartbeat. Maria and Thomas' wedding was a joy to photograph. I knew the moment I walked into the room that we were going to have a good day.
For the first look, the pecan orchard was a must regardless of the weather. Let me tell you, these images turned out beautiful. The trees were lush green, and the misty rain added to the scene.
